Hi — I'm Tyler.
A licensed clinical social worker offering quiet, unhurried therapy for adults navigating change, anxiety, and identity. Telehealth across California. Based in [CITY], CA · LCSW #[LICENSE NUMBER].

I came to clinical social work after years of being in the wrong rooms with the right questions. The right room turned out to be a quiet one — across from someone willing to be honest with me. That experience shaped how I sit with my own clients today.
In sessions, I'm warm, curious, and direct. I ask questions not to test you, but because the most useful work happens when we get genuinely interested in your inner life together. I'm comfortable sitting with difficult feelings, and I'll never pretend something is fine when it isn't.
I work with adults across a range of identities and life stages — with a particular soft spot for people who feel a little in-between. Between chapters. Between identities. Between who they were and who they're becoming.
Outside of work, you'll find me reading too many books at once, walking slowly, and over-watering my plants.

Why I do this work.
I became a therapist because therapy changed my life — not in a dramatic, before-and-after way, but in the slow, ordinary way that good therapy usually does. I learned I was allowed to take my own inner life seriously. I want to offer that same permission to the people I work with.
“a quiet shore for the work within.”
If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you. The first step is just a short conversation.
