Practice details

Payment, insurance & policies.

Payment methods

Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover) and HSA/FSA cards. A card on file is required and charged the day of session.

Insurance

[INSURANCE INFO] — currently a private-pay (out-of-network) provider. I do not bill insurance directly.

Superbills

Monthly superbills available on request for clients with out-of-network mental health benefits. Reimbursement varies by plan — check with your insurer about coverage for an out-of-network LCSW (CPT 90837).

Cancellation & no-show

24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled with less notice or no-shows are billed at the full session rate.

Sliding scale

I reserve a limited number of sliding-scale spots for clients for whom the full fee would be a meaningful barrier. If that's you, please mention it when you reach out — no documentation required.

Why private pay

Private pay protects your privacy (no required diagnosis on your insurance record), keeps treatment decisions between us, and avoids the limits insurers place on session length and frequency.

Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)

Uninsured and self-pay clients are entitled to a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges under federal law. One is provided to every new client and available on request.
